Currently building Identity Solutions at Trulioo

I like figuring out how things connect, be it people, markets, systems. I pick things up fast, and I'm at my best taking a messy, complicated problem and making it feel simple.

About me

How I think

Give me a company, a market, a sport, even a person, and I'll start mapping how the pieces fit. What's connected to what, and which small thing is quietly moving everything else. Most things are more connected than they look, and once you spot the pattern it's hard to unsee. I can't really turn it off.

My Journey thus far

A quick tour

Trulioo

Now
Solutions Engineer · Identity & Compliance Infrastructure
  • Building KYC/KYB automation turning manual identity and business-verification checks into workflows that run themselves.
  • Sitting between engineering and customers working out how the product fits into someone's stack, then showing them it actually works.
  • Taking something genuinely complicated and explaining it so a room gets it in five minutes.

GamerDraft

Co-Founder
Founder · Esports Platform · 0 → 1
  • Co-founded an esports startup and built the product end to end. This was my first real taste of shipping something to actual users.
  • Learned a ton about building with no time and no budget: scope it, ship it, listen, repeat.

Builder, for others
Impact · Accessibility · Human-Centered Product
  • Ran WheelPower and built products alongside Paralympian Jason Chee.

A Few Things I Go By

The short version
i.

Most things are systems. Learn to read one and the rest get a lot easier.

ii.

Complexity can be interesting. I really enjoy making tangled things make sense.

iii.

To understand something, start with what it's connected to.

iv.

I'd rather learn a lot of things than get too precious about just one.

v.

Stay curious. The day I think I've got it all figured out is the day I've stopped learning.

vi.

Just build the thing. A rough version that works beats a perfect one that doesn't exist.

The Builder

I love building and making my creative side run wild.

Founder · Hacker · Shipper
02Translate

The Translator

I'm good at sitting between the engineers and everyone else turning "what does this even do" into something that just clicks.

Pre-sales · Enablement · Clarity
03Run

The Operator

I make systems and organisations run efficiently, with the right incentive structures in place.

Ops · Org Design · Execution
04Learn

The Perpetual Student

Market humbles us all. I love learning a new perspective and idea everyday.

Generalist · Fast Ramp · Curious
05Compete

The Competitor

Esports, marathons, boulder problems. I'm wired to chase the next hard thing and relentless figure out how to win.

Drive · Discipline · Grit
06Empower

The Empath

The work I care about most is the stuff that actually helps people with a real human at the center of my design.

Impact · Human-centered · Access

Off The Clock

The same brain, unsupervised
Markets

Global macro — I can't help watching how the world's flows, rates, and incentives connect. Investing is basically the same puzzle, with skin in the game.

Endure

Long-distance running — a good reminder that just showing up, over and over, actually works. Nobody's watching, but you just got to keep going anyway.

Solve

Bouldering — every route is a puzzle you solve with your whole body, mid-air, before your forearms quit on you.

Play

Competitive esports — where I first learned to think fast under pressure, and where GamerDraft came from.
